Heavydrive transports a bronze statue over uneven terrain
Tapfheim-based company Heavydrive offers all kinds of transportation solutions, recently put to the test in Wiesbaden, where an enormous bronze deer had to be lifted across muddy terrain and over a fence. The team used the MRK 86.0 assembly crane, which has a lifting capacity of 2.8 tonnes, and the professional Heavydrive operator used the crane’s maximum jib length of almost 11m. The bronze figure was attached to the crane with the help of the patented Heavydrive assembly jig. Because the MRK has a seamless 360-degree rotation angle, the deer statue could safely be lifted from the garden and transported over the steep slope and fence.
The flexible and compact Heavydrive assembly cranes are particularly suitable where there are tight spaces and difficult access points. Their non-marking tracks make them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and rubber crawler tracks mean they can steer safely over uneven terrain. The Heavydrive MRK cranes are available to rent and to buy with lifting capacities ranging from 1 to 10 tonnes.
