Pane replaced below protrusion in Tutzing (Germany)

The Heavydrive team replaced a pane weighing some 700 kilos in record time using the MRK 144 S assembly crane and the VSGU 1500 K vacuum suction system. The glass element had to be lifted out from below a 1.5 metre deep protrusion. No problem for the Heavydrive systems! The assembly crane's telescopic arm can be extended to 14.4 metres.

The installation of the new pane was equally straightforward: The element was suctioned in the middle and transported to the building. A concrete surround conceals the window opening flush with the façade by half a metre. And so the operator had to weave the pane into the façade with millimetre precision. The panes had been replaced within just two hours.
