New arrival at Heavydrive: the VSGSTU product line
Innovative 6- to 7-axis manipulators complement the diverse product line
The new VSGSTU is in line with the Heavydrive principles: it is flexible, efficient and easy to use. All units can be rotated by 360 degrees, pivoted by 90 degrees and tilted laterally by 40 degrees. What is more, the 6- to 7-axis manipulators can be quickly mounted onto an indoor or outdoor telescopic forklift. This can be done quite simply by driving the rental forklift into the corresponding forklift pockets at the bottom of the unit.
The high-performance VSGSTU manipulators are offered in various versions with a bearing load of 500 kilos (VSGSTU 500 K) to up to two tonnes (VSGSTU 1000 K / 1500 K / 2000 K). All units are telecontrolled and thus onlyrequire one operator to control the axles. Our competent engineers choose the right suction unit for the manipulator beforehand.
Erfolgreicher Baustelleneinsatz in Übersee
The brand-new VSGSTU 1000 K is already being used in a project in New York (USA). 15 metre long and one metre wide metal sheets weighing 800 kilos are being positioned using telescopic forklifts there. In this case the tongue and groove joint can only be made with a 7-axis manipulator. The powerful Heavydrive mounting devices are also being used in three other large-scale projects in the Washington area.
Heavydrive manipulators from the VSGSTU product line are now immediately available on the German and international market.
The innovative mounting and lifting devices by Heavydrive can be seen at the in-house trade fair on 05 July 2014 and at the glasstec 2014 trade fair.
