Shortly before the acceptance of the new YUKAtel GmbH building in Dreieich, Heavydrive solved the problem of inserting the last seven remaining panes into the 19-meter (62 ft) high and sloping glass façade for the customer Metallica Stahl- und Fassadentechnik, a subsidiary of STRABAG AG.

Due to the increasing order volume and the growing need for manpower, all the space in the existing YUKAtel building in Offenbach had been used up. The 90 by 35 metre (295 x 115 ft) new building of the international mobile wholesaler in Dreieich consists of a mirrored glass element consisting of two offset parallelograms pushed together. The sloping façade has an incline of 28 degrees.

Heavydrive had an innovative solution ready for the installation. The 850-kilogram (1,874 lbs) glass elements were set using the Heavydrive MRK 195 mini crane with a hook height of 19 metres (62 ft). The crane was combined with a 3-axis overhead manipulator having a load capacity of 900 kilograms (1,984 lbs). The manipulator can be rotated 360 degrees, tilted 110 degrees, and is remote controlled. This enabled the installation engineers to safely lift the panes up to 19 metres (62 ft) high into the façade from the outside.

YUKAtel's new headquarters in Dreieich is scheduled for completion in 2023.
