Heavydrive presents assembly devices at the glazier masterpiece exhibition

The Master’s coursework of eleven young glazier students was exhibited in Bayerbach (in Rottal-Inn, Bavaria) on 2-3 August. Visitors were also able to view and try out some different Heavydrive glass assembly devices in front of the community and arts centre.

The students had completed their Master’s qualification in glass in the Vilshofen vocational school. The pieces from the practical exam ranged from illuminated glass furniture to window/door elements and creative lead glazing. At the grand opening of the masterpiece exhibition, official speeches were given by the Chair of the Examination Committee Josef Sailer, District Chief Administrator Michael Fahmüller, the Deputy Mayor of Bayerbach Heinz Bauhuber, State Guild Master Thomas Strobl and the Vice President of the Chamber of Trades Karl-Heinz Moser. Master Glazier Veronika Schwarz also congratulated the Master’s students.

Heavydrive GmbH, alongside Signal Iduna and Bohle AG, were the event sponsors. Two Heavydrive technicians showcased the GMG 600 glass assembly device, the MRK 55 S assembly crane with a vacuum suction system and overhead manipulator, as well as the patented HDL glass assembly wagon. The Heavydrive experts showed an interested audience how simple and quick it is to operate the assembly and glass devices. The enthusiastic young glaziers and visitors had a go at using the Heavydrive devices to lift and set down glass panes and to manoeuvre them through a course. ‘Our aim is to ensure there are no limits to the creative ideas of the glaziers and developers when it comes to assembly. We develop the best, most efficient assembly solutions for every construction site situation, no matter how complicated’, Heavydrive managing director Günter Übelacker remarks.

The Heavydrive managing director outlined the wide range of devices and their many possible uses at the ensuing AGM of the Lower Bavarian Glaziers Guild. Heavydrive GmbH specialises in the assembly of extremely large and heavy panes.
