Heavydrive 7-axis manipulator with a lifting capacity of up to 2 tonnes

It lifts, turns, lowers, tilts, assembles overhead and moves in any direction: the new Heavydrive 7-axis manipulator is a true all-rounder. The VSG STU 2000 K can be manoeuvred hydraulically by remote control along seven different axes. The manipulator was designed to be easily attached to an indoor or outdoor telescopic forklift. Combined with the appropriate vacuum suction system, the 7-axis manipulator can fit glass panes, wooden panels or stone slabs weighing up to 2 tonnes.

Easy assembly

The Heavydrive 7-axis manipulator can be attached to a telescopic forklift in two ways. The operator can either drive the manipulator onto the forklift manually or use the automatic attachment function which guides the system onto the forklift carriage and bolts it hydraulically.

Simple one-person operation

Just one operator is required to manoeuvre the Heavydrive manipulator on its seven axes by remote control. Assembly of glass panes weighing up to 2 tonnes, even overhead, is effortless. It can fit panes under overhangs as low as one metre off the ground. To use the system, the operator just needs a forklift licence. The manipulator is powered by a 24-volt battery and will run in continuous use for three to four days before needing recharged. It’s even emission-free.

The Heavydrive 7-axis manipulator is available to rent or to buy in four models for loads of 500kg up to 2 tonnes. The Heavydrive specialists advise customers on an individual basis when it comes to choosing the right suction system.
