Strong together: Heavydrive supports the Onesto Tigers

As an ice hockey sponsor, the company is organising a roadshow in Bayreuth

 

On Friday, 26 September 2025, the onesto Tigers faced EC Peiting in their second home game of the season. As a sponsor of the Bayreuth Ice Hockey Club, Heavydrive was also in attendance and demonstrated various systems and installation solutions during a roadshow.

The Tapfheim-based installation company welcomed customers in its own marquee in front of the Bayreuth ice arena. The Heavydrive roadshow focused on Heavydrive's versatile glass installation solutions. Various versions of the Heavydrive MRK assembly crane, different models of the VSG vacuum suction systems and the HDL glass transport trolley, as well as the TT stair climber were demonstrated. Customers were able to experience the systems live in a practical, real-world application. The mix of technical discussions and social interaction made for a memorable day.

We aim to actively promote the club and, at the same time, raise awareness for our brand.", explained Guenter Uebelacker, Managing Director at Heavydrive. The Bayreuth onesto Tigers play in the Oberliga Süd – Germany's third-highest ice hockey league.

The highlight of the day was the face-off to start the ice hockey match. Amidst the electrifying atmosphere, the Heavydrive team and its guests cheered on the Onesto Tigers, celebrating with great excitement when the Tigers clinched victory that evening. This sporting success provided a fitting and memorable conclusion to the roadshow. "We would like to extend our thanks to all our guests.
