Precisely timed Heavydrive assignment at the Novo Park Business Center in Bucharest (Romania)

The VSG 400 KR 6 Heavydrive system was used to install two curved glass elements at the First Class Novo Park Business Center in the Romanian capital of Bucharest. The vacuum suction system has a span of six metres (19.7 ft). This system was developed specifically for convex and concave curved glass panes and can be easily adapted to the size of the glass elements.

Heavydrive delivered the VSG 400 KR 6 vacuum suction system to the construction site just in time to start the assignment. Using the special system, the two façade elements were installed in less than three hours. The Heavydrive operator then immediately loaded the system back onto the truck and returned it to the main warehouse in Tapfheim.

This logistical round trip guaranteed the customer a reliable, punctual and cost-saving delivery. "Heavydrive sees reliability and punctuality as paramount. Because our employee oversees the process and the transport operation, the costs are clearly calculable and any damage that might be caused by frequent reloading of the system is avoided," explains Günter Übelacker, Managing Director of Heavydrive. Some 98 per cent of the rental systems are delivered by Heavydrive itself or by its strategic partner transport companies. This means that the entire process and the transport to the place of use is closely monitored.
