New from Heavydrive: The strongest miniature crane in the world

The MRK 230.0 from the Donauwoerth-based company boasts a bearing load of up to 10 tonnes

July 3rd, 2014, was the big day: In Duisburg, managing director Guenter Uebelacker personally accepted two brand-new MRK 230.0 miniature cranes. The world's largest miniature crawler crane has a hook height of 22.9 meters and a 7.5 meter long hydraulic assembly jig. This gives the MRK 230.0 a working radius of 24.3 meters and makes it perfectly suited for mounting heavy steel parts and panes of up to 10 tonnes bearing load.

The miniature crawler crane from the Japanese manufacturer UNIC is a revolution in the miniature crane market. The UNIC URW-1006 had its European premiere in 2012, at the Intermat trade fair in Paris. Since then, it has been delivered to the Netherlands and Switzerland. For the German UNIC retailer Mini & Mobile Cranes Koerner GmbH in Duisburg, these are the second and third miniature cranes of this size to enter the German market.

The perfect aid for installation under extreme conditions

With a bearing load of up to 10 tonnes, the MRK 230.0 is perfectly suited for mounting extremely large and heavy panes. It positions the elements smoothly and accurately to the millimeter. Thanks to its compact design, the miniature crane is extremely versatile and can be easily used in constricted spaces. Be it with glass panes, concrete and stone slabs, metal sheets or plastic sheets - in combination with the matching vacuum suction units (VSG), the miniature crawler crane can be universally used.

Just in time for the in-house fair on July 5, 2014, Heavydrive GmbH introduced the new crawler crane to visitors. "Our objective is to always offer the best and newest products to our customers. With the MRK 230.0 miniature crane, we expand our range of specialised equipment and enter into a new dimension in the field of installation", says managing director Guenter Uebelacker.

Heavydrive GmbH has already delivered two crawler cranes to a customer from Saudi Arabia. As with all other equipment, customers can also book a professionally trained crane operator. That way, installation success is guaranteed.
