Heavydrive at the Facade 20 conference

The topic "Energy-efficient facades" was the focus of the "Facade 20" conference on February 20, 2020. Numerous experts from practice and science explained current solutions and strategies for future climate protection requirements. At the accompanying trade exhibition, the Heavydrive company demonstrated their innovative solutions for the assembly of extremely large, heavy and coated facade elements.

The conference was organized by the "Facade Engineer" department at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and took place in the Swabian Chamber of Crafts in Augsburg. Around 200 visitors from glass and facade companies as well as architects and planners learned about the latest developments in facade technology at the presentations.

At the accompanying trade exhibition, the Heavydrive experts explained how the challenges of assembling the ever larger and heavier panes can be mastered with the special Heavydrive systems. With great interest, the specialist audience had the diverse Heavydrive assembly solutions explained to the 3D model. “Climate protection requirements such as heat insulation are changing the properties, thickness and weight of the panes. We develop our systems with foresight, for which an exchange at specialist events such as Fassade 20 is of course very important," says Heavydrive Managing Director Guenter Uebelacker.
