Balcony installation on a new building

In Donauwörth, Bavaria, Heavydrive took on the task of installing a balcony on a new building. They accomplished the mission using the flexible MRK 86.0 mini crane. The experienced Heavydrive operator controlled the installation by radio remote control, allowing the balcony to be mounted quickly, safely and with pin-point precision.

The compact assembly aid has a load capacity of up to 2.82 tonnes and a hook height of 8.6 metres. It can be operated either by electric power or diesel. The crawler crane is much more compact than a truck-mounted crane and needs little space due to its small footprint. This meant that the road had to be closed on one side for just 30 minutes and the balcony was safely installed within the shortest possible time.
