Heavydrive at the Facade Congress in Moscow
Heavydrive GmbH is also taking part for the first time at the three-day facade congress in the Russian capital. Over 300 glass manufacturers, suppliers and planners find out about the new products in the glass industry here. Ivan Leonov, head of the new Russian subsidiary in St. Petersburg, will present the many possible uses of Heavydrive systems.
Heavydrive has been carrying out assembly projects in Russia from Germany for years. The expansion makes it easier to work with customers.
Heavydrive at the Glass Congress 2019
On 03/04 April 2019, numerous members and Bundesverband Flachglas e. V. and the Gütegemeinschaft Flachglas e. V. and their partners in Stuttgart.
The congress with its exclusive speakers provided enough opportunity for inspiration and for expert discussions.
We had the opportunity to present ourselves and our range at the trade show accompanying the congress.
Heavydrive at BAU 2019
The countless visitors to our trade fair stand at the BAU 2019 got to see for themselves the performance capability of Heavydrive’s systems.
When it comes to the mounting of large panes, comprehensive project planning is extremely important.
At the leading trade fair, Heavydrive is one step ahead. Instead of bringing the heavy systems into the trade fair hall, Heavydrive developed a 1:25 scale model.
It simulates construction site conditions, even unusual ones, and tests out the different possible glass mounting solutions.
It has been used at the fair to discuss and plan many construction projects in advance.
Heavydrive at the Glass Congress 2018
The venue for the 2018 Glass Congress was The Westin Hotel. Around 200 guests accepted the invitation from the Federal Flat Glass Association (BF) and the Gütegemeinschaft Multi-pane insulating glass (GMI) to Leipzig in mid-April.
Heavydrive GmbH was present in the foyer of the hotel with an information stand on site and was able to advise trade visitors and association members on the extensive range and range of services for project work.

At the GUGELFUSS partner days on March 1 and 2, 2018, Heavydrive GmbH was present with an information stand on site and was able to advise trade visitors on the extensive range and range of services for project work.
The window manufacturer GUGELFUSS invited 170 specialist partners to a program with specialist speakers from the window construction industry on current topics and an associated in-house exhibition.

Günter Übelacker gives a lecture at the North American Glass Expert Forum in Las Vegas
Günter Übelacker was invited as a speaker for a panel discussion. Together with eight other entrepreneurs, the Heavydrive managing director presented the Heavydrive suction systems, assembly cranes and glass transport devices and answered questions from the audience. The assembly solutions for extremely large and heavy panes met with great interest from the North American glass specialists. “In North America, a pane size of six to eight meters has been used so far. Heavydrive places panes up to 18 meters long and weighing up to six tons. This is a rarity for the American market and opens up new possibilities for the future for building contractors, ” explains Günter Übelacker.

We not only exhibited our wide range of assembly and transport equipment for rent and purchase, but also presented our project business to trade fair visitors. We plan the perfect and most efficient solution individually according to the construction site situation.

An abstract of the products presented
One special highlight on BAU 2017 was the VSG 4000 KL 12 vacuum suction system for fitting glass fins up to 18m in height. The 800kg system is the most intelligent assembly solutions for specific construction conditions worldwide.
The company showed the MRK 55.0 mini crawler crane with a 3-axle overhead manipulator. This combination of systems enables panes of up to 600kg to be installed safely, even overhead or under overhangs.
Visitors could also experience the bestseller, the VSG 450 K, at BAU 2017. This vacuum suction system has a lifting capacity of 450kg and was fixed to a crane hook.
anniversary presentation 2016
New headquarters in Tapfheim
The move to the new premises in Tapfheim now offers enough space (18,000 square metres) for the constantly growing fleet of equipment and the 16 employees. Another advantage of the location is the outstanding transport connection.
At its new headquarters, Heavydrive showcases all of its expertise gained from ten years of assembly experience.
To celebrate the ten-year anniversary, the new premises, and the innovative system from the Heavydrive fleet of equipment, around 100 guests experienced the big anniversary presentation in Tapfheim. The mayor, Karl Malz and the deputy district commissioner, Dr. Peter Thrul personally came to congratulate Guenter Uebelacker. The team and the guests partied into the night with live music and a splendid buffet.

Hausmesse 2015
Heavydrive offers diverse innovations in the glass assembly sector
At its in-house trade fair on Saturday 20 June 2015, Heavydrive GmbH exhibited its latest assembly and suction devices. The highlights of the fair at the Donauwoerth headquarters were the innovative systems for positioning particularly large and heavy panes, including the VSG 6000 K with its 6-tonne capacity and the VSG 3500 with its capacity of 3.5 tonnes.
